Aaron Lynn was born in Tampa, Florida, but raised in Pensacola. He has been drawing since grade school and took a hand full of art classes throughout middle and high school. After enrolling in college for computer animation, he soon realized he preferred traditional mediums rather than creating digital art. Aaron specializes in pyrography and has been practicing this art form since 2010.
Pyrography is the creation of art using heat or fire. The artistic design is burned onto wood or watercolor paper using a heated tool resembling a soldering iron. To burn watercolor paper, lower temperatures must be used to avoid burning through the paper. Some of Aaron's artworks can take over 70 hours to complete, depending upon the detail of the design. Most backgrounds are completed by using the vibrant colors of copic markers or other various inks, paints, and pencils.
