THE ARTIST

Aaron Lynn is a mixed media artist currently residing in Pensacola Florida. Aaron’s love of the arts inspired him to pursue a degree in computer animation in 2012. Not far into his first semester, Aaron quickly found that he had a limited interest in computers and realized his love of traditional techniques and mediums. Unfortunately, he only had one drawing class and the rest were computer based. This combined with other factors led to Aaron leaving school and returning home to Pensacola. Instead of seeing this brief period as a waste of time, Aaron sees it as a part of discovering himself and who he is as an artist.

After a few years of producing almost no art, Aaron began making small wood burnings to sell in small local shows as he worked as a line cook. Because of his passion for art and the support of his friends and family, he continued to grow as an artist by learning new methods and entering small craft shows.

In 2017 Aaron was making Sushi for a living in Orange Beach Alabama and had worked his way up to assistant manager. At this point, he began feeling confident in his ability as a wood-burning artist and had become fascinated with the entrepreneur dream. So after quitting his job, he began a small business called Kindled Arts to sell his art along with other wood and leather handmade goods.

The first couple of years proved quite difficult. However, in 2019 Aaron was selected to participate in the Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival, one of the best-regarded, most popular juried art shows in the U.S. where he was awarded an Award of Honor.

After one of Aaron’s hand-made items became popular online, Kindled Arts quickly became focused on creating/selling leather & wood goods, so the art was “placed on the back burner” once again.

After several years of running Kindled Arts, Aaron has made time to get back to what started his whole entrepreneur venture. THE ART! Currently he is focused on mixed media on paper. In the past Aaron often created sea life art because in his mind, “that’s what successful artist create here in the Gulf Coast.” Although his artistic journey began a little shaky, he now obsesses over his beautiful mushroom artworks that he creates just because he wants to.
